Everybody loves to criticize the media, and I'm no different. Socialists complain that the media is a tool of capitalism. Capitalists complain that the media has a liberal agenda. I, on the other hand, complain that the media reflects the same biases and myopia that charaterises society as a whole. That is, it is fascinated by the dark side of men, but plays down the dark side of women. Men are basically bad with a few good examples. Women are basically good with a few bad examples, and even those are "victims."
